Optimize Multi-Warehouse Fulfillment with New B2B Order Routing

Managing B2B fulfillment across multiple warehouses often requires balancing inventory availability, shipping efficiency, and operational control. Until now, B2B orders were created and processed within a single warehouse without any routing capability. This restricted inventory utilization across locations and made it difficult for growing businesses to leverage their full fulfillment network.

We’ve now introduced B2B Order Routing, enabling intelligent warehouse allocation during order creation based on configured routing rules and inventory availability. B2B sales channels can now participate in EasyEcom's existing routing framework, allowing orders created through the UI, APIs, and imports to be automatically assigned to the most suitable warehouse. The system also supports manual warehouse selection before picklist creation, giving operations teams the flexibility to override routing decisions whenever required.

Whether fulfilling from a single location or a distributed warehouse network, EasyEcom can now split orders across warehouses based on routing logic and automatically merge eligible routed orders when they converge on the same fulfillment location. Routing is performed once during order creation, while existing fulfillment processes such as picklist creation, batching, MIC, invoicing, and handover continue to operate exactly as before.

Key Enhancement: We've extended EasyEcom's routing engine to support advanced B2B fulfillment workflows.

  • Automatic & Manual Routing: Assign warehouses automatically during order creation or manually select a warehouse before picklist creation using the new Manual Routing option.
  • Split, Route & Merge Orders: Support minimum shipment rules, order splitting across warehouses, and automatic order merging when eligible routed orders return to the same fulfillment location.
  • Comprehensive Routing Coverage: Enable routing for B2B sales channels across UI-created orders, API orders, and imported orders while validating inventory availability throughout the routing process.
