New Feature: Receive Unique Tracking Number for Sub-Orders
The system will now automatically send a unique identifier along with the order ID in case an order is split into multiple shipments.
Carriers like Shyplite and Clickpost do not allow multiple shipments against the same Order ID, thereby making it impossible to ship split orders. This feature will ensure you seamlessly ship sub-orders via Shyplite and Clickpost.
For example, if an order OD123 is split into suborders OD123_1 and OD123_2, the system will generate separate Invoice IDs 456 and875 for both the suborders.
The order number shared with the carrier partner for both the sub-orders will be “OrderNumber_InvoiceID”.
Continuing with the same example, the Order Numbers now will be OD123_1_456 and OD123_2_875.
