To further streamline your wholesale order management, the system will now automatically update the open wholesale order details when new products are assigned to the order.
This way you can process wholesale orders in installments based on inventory availability and fulfill the complete order in minimum shipments.
Here is an example to help you understand this:
Let us say, you have an Wholesale Order for 5 AdidasShirt02, 3 AdidasShirt03 and 4 Shoes- Adidas.
Since this is a partial order, an Open Order will be created with a new Order ID (Order-01_OR2).
Later on, in case you have inventory available for Shoes, you can add it to existing open order Order-01_OR2.
This means, instead of two order shipments you can now ship all the products in a single go.
Please note that you can not assign product quantity in two scenarios:
This means you can assign quantity only of a new product, i.e. Shoes in our case, but can not increase the assigned quantity of AdidasShirt02 or AdidasShirt03.
