The “Unknown Category” in the category master can include both perishable and non-perishable products.
The system automatically delists perishable products based on their shelf life set in the system. In order to avoid automatic delisting of non-perishable products, the system has now removed the access to defining shelf life for products that are in the “Unknown Category”.
