Feature Enhancement: Optimized Wholesale Order Management

The system now enables you to easily track if a wholesale order has unassigned inventory before you start the pick-pack process. 

Inadequate inventory assignment generally happens when an order directly reflects in the Open Orders section for the pick-pack process. This is a setting-driven functionality that bypasses order approval and inventory assignment.

For example, if an order for 5000 shirts was placed, and you only had 4500 units available at the time of order import, the system would automatically assign 4500 units to the order. To track order assignment details, manual tracking of individual order detail sections was required which was a time-consuming process causing delays and/or inaccurate order fulfillment.

To solve this, the system now has an “Unassigned Items” column in the Open Orders tab. This helps you track pending inventory assignments and ensure adequate inventory assignment at the earliest possible for complete wholesale order fulfillment.

For a detailed unassigned inventory breakdown, warehouse users can download the unassigned inventory file by clicking on the “Unassigned Items” number.
