We understand how important an effective purchase planning system is for fulfilling customer orders and for avoiding stock-outs. Doing this manually is difficult when you have a wide product category and store it in multiple warehouses.
To help you with it, we have further improved our Purchase Planning feature. You can now view SKUs across all warehouses together and plan your inventory purchase based on the sales velocity.
It will help you in identifying from which warehouses your inventory is shipped. Let’s say an SKU is stored in 5 warehouses and is shipped from only 2 warehouses. Now rather than purchasing inventory, you can simply transfer it from other warehouses. This will be a more cost-effective way to avoid stock-outs and fulfilling customer orders timely.
