Pushing Our Order Processing Limits
Our software has had the capability to seamlessly process tens of thousands of orders per day for a long time. Keeping the load upsurge for the ongoing brand sales as well as upcoming festivities in mind, these figures needed to be upscaled by multiple folds. During a recent load testing session, we pushed our limits and went all out to successfully test our system for processing 1 MILLION orders per day. While at it, our system was able to achieve a peak of 1500 orders per minute. For the load testing sessions, we kept the target to the north of 80k orders per hour pertaining to the requirements of sales events of our esteemed customers, Mamaearth, Beardo, Epigamia etc . Our system was tested to go as high as 1 million orders for each client which happened to be the greatest testing number to date for EasyEcom. Additionally, we took every small detail into account and devised an error-free system for handling the sales events with utmost accuracy. The success of these sales events for high growth brands like MamaEarth, Beardo etc enabled us to achieve a new milestone and we are prepared to go even further now. Now that we have already tested our order processing capabilities, EasyEcom is ready to handle any load upsurge during the peak festive time.
Real-Time Server Scaling:
For a load of 1 million orders per day on each client level, the system is required to scale dynamically horizontally on its own. To enable this, we got additional servers to perform real-time server scaling and check the accuracy of the system. The additional servers have helped scale up and down as per the requirement. After a lot of back and forth, our scaling time is well within 5 minutes now and our new record is set to 2000 orders per minute. Furthermore, replacing old APIs with the new ones and upgrading the existing dashboard functionalities has helped minimize the response time and provide optimal support.
Other than server scaling and extensive load testing, we also tested the system capabilities for our shipment integrations with shipment creation and order import for large order volumes. We have tried, tested, and implemented the advanced features with some of our other esteemed clients as well and we are confident of enabling 10x growth for all of you trusting us with your eCommerce businesses.
